Jazz Band

Jazz Band is a full year course and is open to all students who have experience playing traditional jazz instruments.  Students will perform a variety of jazz styles in several concerts throughout the school year.  Study of music theory, harmony, and improvisation will be emphasized.  Students will also serve the school community as the performing Pep-Band at various sporting and community events.  Students will have the opportunity to work on solo / ensemble music and are eligible to participate in the All-State, All-Northwest, and Region / State Solo & Ensemble Music Festivals.
