Jim Lambert

Mr. Lambert has been teaching at Kodiak High School since 1982. He received his bachelor's and master's degrees from Central Washington University. He and his wife Karen have one son, Daniel. Mr. Lambert enjoys Kodiak High School's ethnic diversity and believes it is one of the true strengths of the school. He enjoys spending time outdoors, and particularly enjoys fly-fishing on local streams.

Keyboarding
9-12 grade; Offered first semester only
Prerequisites: none
Students will learn the touch method of keyboarding. Various forms of business correspondence including business letters, reports, memos, outlines and tables. Word processing and Windows management will be covered. Following this class students will continue in Advanced Computer Applications second semester.

Computer Applications
9-12 grade; Offered first semester only
Prerequisites: Touch-type 25 WPM
Students will learn various forms of business correspondence including business letters, reports, memos, outlines and tables. Word processing and Windows management will be covered. Following this class, students will continue in Advanced Computer Applications.

Accounting
10-12 grades; Offered as a year-long course
Prerequisites: Sophomores require teacher recommendation
This class is intended for those students who want a deeper understanding of how a business operates financially. Basic accounting systems will be covered using journals, ledgers, accounts payable and accounts receivable, and financial statements.
