| Born and raised on Kodiak, she attended University at Smith College for one year, then transfered to St. Andreus Univerity in Scotland for her ramaining three years, where she earned a degree in English and Art History. After returning home in 2000, she started teaching in the district's Talented & Gifted program, where she has happily remained. She has two children, Eilich and Isabella and is married to Dr. Sven Haakansen.
Projects: -holds Socratis semminars for High School students at least monthley, -and assists with High School and College planning. |
